THE BEGINNING OF THE END
Yesterday marked a tragic anniversary in our nation's history. For it was the day when the sham president was handed the memo that warned "Bin Laden to attack the US". Thank you for being the most useless fuckstain ever to get in a position to reek havoc on so many. You deserve the pain of a slow death for all your loved one before you finally succumb to a long life of torture at the hands of the Abu Graib and Guantanamo survivors. At a minimum you should be spit on whenever seen in public. I hope you live to be 100 without ever a good night sleep.

I need a Makeover!
So, I've been a jeans and t-shirt guy since my mother stopped dressing me in the sixties. Well now I'm beginning to get mail from AArp and all sorts of catalogs for people my age. Maybe its time for a wardrobe upgrade. Here's what i was thinking.
No one will mistake these pants for jeans
I was wondering if this would look good with those pants?
Would I be crazy to add these to the ensemble?

Moral Compass or Essential Skills?
What has the American man lost? His Moral Compass or an essential skill? I ask this as I try to come to terms with Scott McClellan's mea culpa that is getting so much attention today. I wasn't sure how to address it until a friend sent me a link to the "75 Essential Skills Every Man Should Master". Well, right there at #2 was "Tell if someone is lying". Now since cooking bacon comes in at #61 then you can see just how important being able to recognize a lie is.
And there in lies my dilemma. How can so many Americans not have recognized all the lying this administration has done for so long. Did we just have blinders on since 9-11? Or do we deep down just don't care that our soldiers are dying in an unjust war and people are being tortured in all of our names.
On the other hand maybe we have become a country that lacks the essential skills to know right from wrong. We have been spoon fed good tasting bullshit for so long we don't realize it is just a bunch of shit. I think its time for all Americans to come clean and reject all that this administration has sullied in our names. Our country cannot return to a good footing in this world until these criminals are brought to justice. There is no time like now. Tomorrow may be too late.

Just follow the signs in the road
Does a community really need to have a trail of crumbs permanently laid out for them in case of an emergency or is this another dot to connect to the vast and extremely large compounds waiting in the hinterlands to house the homegrown insurrectionists?
These ideas crept into the conversation of my friend and I after enjoying the homespun Americana that is the Mill Valley Fireman's Pancake Breakfast and town parade. While waiting in line for our pancakes we were asked to wear a button showing our support for the idea of painting blue E with an arrow pointing in the direction to go in the event of an evacuation. Now Mill Valley is a community at the base of Mount Tamalpais in which many of the residents live on the winding roads leading up from the town to the surrounding hills. Now at first this might sound like a great idea. But what kind of crisis are they preparing us for? Will they lead us right into the path of a fire? Can a city government accurately predict which roads will be spared in an earthquake. There was a time when neighbor depended on neighbor to get through emergencies. Are we incapable of this today? And if so then are we really a community? My own feelings say if you are going to follow a leader than try to get a good idea where you are being lead. If you don't take the time to understand in advance then don't be disappointed at where you end up.

More Can't Miss Holiday Gifts

Not sure this is a bona fide gift but you may want to spruce up the double wide before all the cousins arrive. I'm sure the old sofa will appreciate it. Especially with everyone sitting around trying to outdo the farting Santa.

More To be Thankful For
One more reason to be thankful this holiday season. Thank someone that you haven't been stuck with a catastrophic injury. Everyone is always ripping on the lawyers for personal injury suits well I say the more they get the better. Because whatever they get you probably won't be enough. Just take a look at this poor family
JACKSON, Mo. -- A collision with a semi-trailer truck seven years ago left 52-year-old Deborah Shank permanently brain-damaged and in a wheelchair. Her husband, Jim, and three sons found a small source of solace: a $700,000 accident settlement from the trucking company involved. After legal fees and other expenses, the remaining $417,000 was put in a special trust. It was to be used for Mrs. Shank's care.
Instead, all of it is now slated to go to Mrs. Shank's former employer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Working people are officially at the bottom of the corporate food chain formerly known as the United States of America. If you think for a minute that there is some sort of safety net for the people of this country think again. Every document you sign there will probably be a clause buried somewhere deep where even if you read it you wouldn't understand it anyway that will take away anything that might have value to whomever such documents were signed for.
It doesn't seem like science fiction that some day soon when you no longer have value to the machine that you'll be taken to a vast and immense pit and be thrown in along with the rest of the useless. That might be a better option than the hell the Shank's are going through.

Wounded Soldier: Military Wants Part Of Bonus Back
Our government has reached a new low in the treatment of the young brave men and women is has sent into its fabricated war. For the likes of me I can't understand why the soldiers don't just pick up their weapons and demand to come home. Surely this kind of news has to reach the front lines. And how can anyone continue to support this mockery of an administration after such vile contempt for the ones they have put in harm's way all for a lie. This unbelievable tale is just one of many in a long line of injustices being put upon today's serviceman:
"Fox was seriously injured when a roadside bomb blew up his vehicle. He was knocked unconscious. His back was injured and lost all vision in his right eye.
A few months later Fox was sent home. His injuries prohibited him from fulfilling three months of his commitment. A few days ago, he received a letter from the military demanding nearly $3,000 of his signing bonus back."
So if you are still on the Bush bandwagon please comment on just why you are. There are no justifications left. What can you come up with?
And on a side note is anyone suprised that Scott McClellan was lying all the time about the Plame leak. Everyone from the top down was involved. HELLO!
